    Storyline:一九四八年春天，山东连连长尚铁龙率部攻打鞍山，在与国民党守敌连长杨寿山僵持中，为避免鞍钢重火力交锋，杨寿山起义投降。尚铁龙回营时受到敌方枪袭。山东连的战士把他埋了，并向家属发了阵亡通知书。山东胶东海边，尚铁龙的妻子麦草和儿子收到了尚铁龙阵亡的消息就坐火车奔往鞍山，到了鞍山却找不到尚铁龙的遗体，只看见掘开的坟和坟...
