    Storyline:唐肃宗时期，皇室内忧外患。皇子李倓受皇后陷害死去，皇长子李俶悲痛不已。朝堂之上，张皇后和史思明中伤李俶，导致李俶兵权被夺。为了振作李俶，独孤靖瑶提出嫁入王府协助李俶。面对独孤靖瑶的好意和对妻子珍珠的爱情，李俶陷入两难。为了李俶和大唐王朝的未来，珍珠主动让李俶休掉自己迎娶独孤靖瑶，之后李俶被立为太子。张皇后与史思明的诡计随着李俶的一步步登向皇位而越发狠毒，史思明撕破面具谋反。朝堂之内，张皇后另立太子的诡计也被忠臣李佖识破，太子之位得保。大势已去的张皇后拼死挣扎，试图绑架珍珠要挟太子李俶，李俶在皇帝面前揭穿张皇后的诡计，皇后终食恶果。在众忠臣良将和独孤靖瑶的帮助下，李俶成功平叛。大唐江山终于稳固，经历大起大落波折的李俶，登上皇位，延续大唐荣耀。
