    Storyline:八十年代初，姜桂芳因为包得一手好饺子，成为了北车站国营饺子馆厨师长。后因政策改革，被处处与她作对的许大雯联合经理把她挤兑走。下岗后，为了一家老小穿衣吃饭，姜桂芳开了一家“姥姥的饺子馆”。创业初期，处境艰难，她始终咬牙坚持。期间，她遇到了饺子馆拆迁和许大雯的针锋相对，这些困难不仅没有让她妥协，反而更加的坚强。在生活中，姜桂芳也遇到了大女儿生病、二女儿离婚、三儿子结婚、四女儿出走、以及收养五儿子等家庭问题。姜桂芳靠自己坚韧的性格和高超的智慧带领儿女们闯过一关又一关，饺子馆在起起伏伏中始终维系着家庭的情感，最终，儿女们生活渐渐步入正轨，姜桂芳也在儿孙满堂的家庭饺子宴中品尝着幸福的味道。
