    Storyline:人过中年的罗建军（张国立 饰）游手好闲，不务正业，早年蹲过大牢，出狱后媳妇自然已经跑了，而他的老母亲多年来含辛茹苦将孙子罗小列（牛骏峰 饰）拉扯成人。父子本就生疏，加上其本性使然，罗建军依然过着混吃等死的日子。偶然机缘，建军重逢多年前的老同学江欣（刘若英 饰）。江欣离婚后带着儿子高迈（郑业成 饰）生活，这个坚强的女强人还努力赶出了一番事业。虽然殊途，却是同归，两个各自经历了人生和情感坎坷的人一来二去走到了一起。谁知磨难并未就此远去，高迈极度抵触这个半路杀出的父亲，想方设法要拆散建军和妈妈的婚姻；江欣的前夫也诡计多端，频频使坏。　　雪上加霜的是，最大的磨难终于压在了江欣的身上……
