    Storyline:一九四九年，程瑞祥（岳华）携妻林丽卿（梁淑庄）从内陆来港途中，因环境所迫卖妻，甚为后悔，惟有只身来港以拉车为生。六年后先后遇上赵大年（良鸣）与上海大亨车月亭（平凡），但在一次走私事件中，大年被充军帝汶岛，于是瑞祥肩负起抚养大年之子振鹏（刘志荣）。因此事故，瑞祥得月亭之信任，委以要职，并与郑带好（周慧娟）结婚。 　　经过十年艰苦努力，瑞祥事业稳固，脱离月亭自立门户，但在感情上起波折，舍带好并拒月亭二女沪生（马敏儿）之爱，与前妻复合。七三年，丽卿病死，瑞祥事业出现危机，再向沪生追求，欲振事业，惟此举遭振鹏妒忌，大爆内幕，瑞祥众叛亲离，最后打回原形，郁郁而终。
