Dark Matter is a Canadian-American science fiction series created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, and is based on the comic book of the same name. Syfy placed an order for 13 episodes for the first season of the series on October 14, 2014. The show premiered on June 12, 2015 on Syfy.

Six people awake from stasis on a ship in space but have no idea who they are. Then they are attacked by an android and shot at by another ship. They arrived at their ship's destination and learnt from the decripted ship files that 5 of then are murderers and they were meant to destroy the destination
