    Storyline:“人在江湖”故事发生于一九四五年，抗战胜利后的某乡镇中，有石家宝、石家威兄弟，依其母生活，家并有表妹李洁莹同住。石父退伍归来，因与恶势力作对披击毙，家威家宝悲愤之馀，夜间潜入恶霸家中，放把火，然后偕母及表妹逃离家乡。 　　转眼十年石氏兄弟得舅父李冈之助，在港开设大牌档谋生，其间认识不少江湖人物，如警察麦坤，过气警官Robert 谭，黑社会人物雷伟等。大牌档生意蒸蒸日上，家威对权力的欲望日增，且认识了常来光顾的女学生许佩芝，大力展开追求，可惜这位富家女，因美貌显得傲慢不已，令家威无所适从，后终娶了表妹洁莹为妻。 　　由于当时毒品蔓延、毒贩获利甚丰，家威有意染指，家宝虽甚忧虑但后来想到打死不离亲兄弟，逐合作贩毒，成为巨富。 　　许佩芝自离家威後，嫁给一位富商，但婚姻破裂，万念俱灰，巧遇家威，娄劝他收手，但他已泥足深陷，身不由己。其时廉署成立，力行肃贪倡廉...
