Storyline:在孤儿院长大的高中生樱井夕月（保志总一朗 配音）是个温柔的少年，但是有件事情一直困扰着他。夕月有一种特殊的能力，就是一旦接触对方，便能获知对方内心的想法，这让夕月感到十分痛苦，不知自己生存的意义何在。直到有一天，他邂逅了一名叫做泽斯（樱井孝宏 配音）的神秘男子。泽斯告诉夕月切记不要在红月之夜外出，不然后招惹到杀身之祸。而二人的相遇开启了所有故事大门的钥匙，命运的齿轮又开始运转，不可思议之事围绕着夕月和泽斯接二连三发生，而泽斯和夕月其实早已相识已久且关系非同一般…… 本片改编自漫画家小田切萤的同名漫画。
