    Storyline:The Perocon he finds seems to be malfunctioning. A hobbyist tells Hideki that his robot might be a Chobit - a type of robot that has been assumed to be an urban legend that can act on its own will.
           Hideki Motosuwa is a poor country guy who just moved to the city to further his study. One day on his way home from work, he discover a 'Perocom', a maiden-shaped robot laying in the dumpster, discarded and wrapped up in bandages.
