Storyline:Open with the girls opening the trunk of Wilden's police care and finding a dead pig. Mona is inside working on the cruiser's laptop. She removes the hard drive and all five of them leave.
Back at Hanna's place the girls have a ton of questions for Mona. She says: she didn't get the car out of the lake, Shauna was friends with Jenna before coming to Rosewood and both are afraid of Melissa, while on meds she thought Cece was Alison, Lucas gave Emily the massage, she didn't push Ian off the bell tower and doesn't know who did.
The next morning the girls wake up to find Mona has disappeared. None of them remember falling asleep and wonder if they were drugged. Just then Mona walks in with coffee for everybody. Hanna wants the chip, but Mona reminds them Red Coat tried to kill her as well.
Later the girls drive by Wilden's car and are stunned to see tons of police presence. A body bag blows over and they see Wilden's body.
Toby is lurking in the woods watching investigators sift through the fire. He sees a fireman pick up a charred red coat.
Mona brings the girls back to her lair to help answer some question. Some of the girls seem to think Alison is still alive. Mona shows them video of Wilden and another person dressed as the queen of hearts. Mona says the other person was Melissa, but just as we see the person's face the computer is wiped clean remotely. They hear little girls' voices outside and go over to a playground where kids are playing with dolls. One walks over and says the five dolls are named Mona, Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily. The girl says the dolls were given to them by Alison.
Pam tells Emily and Hanna there are witnesses to Wilden's death. She also says Jessica DiLaurentis has returned to town. Hanna still thinks Alison was the person who pulled them from the fire.
Toby and Spencer sift through the rubble looking for the red coat. It's nowhere to be found. They go inside the structure and Spencer hears something. A shadow rushes by them by they don't see what it was.
Emily drops by the DiLaurentis home with a gift basket from Pam and talks to Jessica. She ends up carrying in a box of thinks marked "Alison's." Jessica has kept all of her daughter's things.
Hanna follows Mona when she moves the RV/lair to a more secure location. The two talk about perhaps being friends again.
Aria runs into Ezra at the coffee shop. She's not sure how to treat him. He tells her he's been offered a permanent job at Rosewood. They talk about moving on and she says she's not ready to see other people.
Wilden was shot multiple times at the same time the girls were at the lodge and then his body was moved. Spencer is happy to be back with Toby. Toby gets a text from A with a picture of a woman that reads: "Bet you miss her every day." He seems upset but doesn't tell Spencer.
At school Emily is worried vice principal Hackett caught her staring at Ezra. He seems to be watching her closely.
In the hallway Hanna reminds Mona of some of their better times together as friends. They plan to go shopping together.
Aria is called to Hackett's office. She imagines the worst, but he just wanted to give her papers for Ella to sign. The scare is enough for Aria to text Ezra that she wants to see other people.
Paige has been offered a full scholarship offer to attend Stanford. She wants Emily to join her. Emily says she likes the idea and tells Paige she loves her.
Hanna and Mona return from shopping. Mona asks about Caleb and Hanna says she hasn't heard from him. Mona says she knows Hanna is just pretending to be her friend and hands her the drive from the computer.
Paige drives home and Jenna is waiting to speak with Emily. She says "if anything happens to me" she wants Emily to tell Toby she never meant to hurt him.
Spencer looks out the window and sees Jessica staring at her home. At that moment she gets an email from A. It is Wilden's obituary, along with the message "Closed caskets keep secrets. His is open and exposes yours."
All four girls arrive at Wilden's funeral. They wonder if A might have put something in the coffin to get them in trouble. Spencer thinks they'll be busted once it's opened during the ceremony and plan to take a look beforehand.
Spencer finds the casket in a back room. As she approaches it her phone rings. Mona is already there, having received the same message from A. They hear a phone ringing inside the casket. The open the lid and find the phone under his body. He has three missed calls, two from "blocked" and one from "Kisses." Spencer calls "Kisses" and Hanna answers. It was Ashley's phone.
The girls wonder how A could have gotten Hanna's mother's phone. Jessica walks over to her and asks them to sit next to her during the ceremony. Someone arrives in a veil and sits in the back behind Jenna.
We see Toby driving. He looks at a text from A: "I know what happened to ur mom. Bring the lair and u'll know 2." Toby flashes back to a conversation with Alison. They nearly kiss before being interrupted by Toby's mother. She's just woken up at 4pm, looks confused and Toby says he thinks something is wrong with her. Toby is worried but Alison harshly calls his mother lazy. In present day Toby gets out of his car and walks along a dirt road.
After the funeral the girls are approached by a state police officer named Holbrook. He's investigating the murders. He wonders why they would come to the funeral of a man who harassed them and says he'll probably have them in for questioning down the road. All five girls get a text from A. It's video of them going through Wilden's cruiser the night he died with a warning that they'll eventually be burned with the truth.
