Storyline:DiNozzo meets with La Grenouille, and contacts Shephard with a prearranged signal thinking his cover's been compromised. Shephard finally reveals Tony's undercover assignment. Tony tells Jeanne what he really does for a living.
Gibbs and McGee conclude that the CIA was countering their investigation for LaGrenouille at the director's expene so he probably is their agent, but Abby sees she failed to delete the result of the identity check: her father who was presumed dead. Then she discloses that Tony DiNozzo is on assignment dating the spy's daughter, Dr. Jeanne Benoit. Shortly after DiNozzo's car explodes, Ducky's autopsy proves the burned corpse isn't Tony.
