    Storyline:1956年，长沙望城县招工现场来了一位青年，“我叫雷锋，生于1940年，出身贫农，是团员。我要去鞍钢，当炼钢工人……”在那个激情燃烧的年代，雷锋将党和政府给予的巨大恩泽，在心里化成不竭的动力，当战士去保家卫国，务农务工去建设新中国，到祖国和人民最需要的地方去，以国人为家人，以国家为自家，以毛主席和共产党为再生父母是逐渐走向成熟的他自我历练的人生信条。
