Storyline:警员陈富贵（王喜 饰）天资过人，刚从警察学校毕业就担起了卧底的重任，打入一犯罪集团内部搜刮它的首脑的罪证。犯罪集团追杀马来西亚新进女星梅香琴时，香港警方派出保护证人组保护她，陈富贵在暗中助她脱险时被保护证人组的探员关彦博（魏俊杰 饰）误会，以为他也是匪徒之一，于是大打出手。富贵凭借其机警灵活，摆脱了彦博的追捕。陈富贵完成卧底任务后，被调往保护证人组，与彦博成为拍挡。这群年轻人在保护证人组里一起面对各种艰险的挑战！
