    Storyline:蓝嘉慧是一个在大陆发展的香港女人。与前夫离婚后，蓝嘉慧结识了男友李文轩，两人相爱并秘密交往了两年后决定结婚。然而李文轩的母亲刘美云却对蓝嘉慧这个儿媳妇颇为不满，独立倔强的蓝嘉慧与思想传统、脾气火爆的婆婆刘美云不论是在价值观念上还是在处世方式上总是格格不入，两人在生活中矛盾不断。香港媳妇和大陆婆婆就此展开了一场别开生面的婆媳较量。
