Storyline:一心寻梦的中国女孩蓝蓝（陈孝萱 饰），在英国华侨的资助下，来到了伦敦学习音乐。然而满腔理想的蓝蓝初到英伦面对陌生的环境却不知所措，一时间感到寸步难行。幸亏遇到了热心的留学生刘利年，在他的帮助下蓝蓝才安顿了下来。随后，蓝蓝发现资助自己到英国学习的华侨原来另有所图，他想为自己的儿子查理娶个媳妇，心高气傲的蓝蓝断然拒绝。失去了资助的蓝蓝和刘利年一起到菜市摆摊以维持生活。生活的清苦，终于击倒了脆弱的蓝蓝。虽然蓝蓝对刘利年心生情愫，但她最终答应了嫁给查理……
