Storyline:在一列从东京开往大阪的特快列车上，坐着一位尊贵而特殊的客人。她是来自欧洲英格拉姆帝国女王莎莉贝丝，随行的还有其年幼的儿子菲利浦王子。女王拥有一颗欧洲最大的宝石——水晶之母，这也引起了怪盗基德的注意。为了防止基德得手，女王身边布置大批保镖和警力。中森警官是日本警方的总代表，而他的女儿青子以及基德的真身快斗也同在这列火车之上。 眼看离预定时间越来越近，快斗却始终没有找到宝石真正的藏匿地点。与此同时，国际宝石大盗杰卡尔和罗丝也尾随前来，他们企图在基德得手之际趁火打劫。同在火车上的柯南从伪装成乘务员的罗丝身上看出蹊跷。一场宝石的攻防战随即展开……
